We're opening our very first physical store this fall and it's a big moment for Understatement!
To support this exciting new chapter and strengthen our growing wholesale business, we're now looking for our next Retail & Wholesale Intern to join our team for at least 3-4 months.

In this role, you'll work closely with our commercial and retail teams and gain hands-on experience in how to launch, operate, and grow a retail space and wholesale business from the inside out. You'll play an active part in planning, operations, merchandising, and B2B relationships with the opportunity to truly shape what our store and wholesale channels can become.

If you're the person we're looking for, you're probably a student in business, retail management, or fashion studies, with a strong interest in commercial strategy and brand experience.

You love being involved in a variety of tasks - from logistics and planning to showroom styling or working with retailers - and you're eager to bring your own ideas to the table.

What you'll get to do:

-Support the setup and launch of our first flagship store

- Assist in retail planning, VM, inventory, POS operations and store experience

- Work with our wholesale team on showroom appointments, order handling and B2B outreach

- Help coordinate with retailers and agents, and contribute to sales support

- Support the retail & wholesale calendar with campaign, delivery and product updates

Qualifications:

We think you have:

- Studies or background in business, fashion, retail or related fields

- Strong organizational and time-management skills: you take ownership and get things done

- High attention to detail and an interest in both the operational and creative sides of retail

- A proactive and driven mindset - you love learning and trying new things

- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (Swedish or German is a plus!)

- Experience with project management tools is a bonus

The internship takes place at our office and showroom in Södermalm, Stockholm. The scope and schedule of the internship can be discussed, but we prefer a minimum of 3 months. The internship is unpaid and can be combined with part-time work or studies.
